Did Wendy's sign a cheese contract?
Yeah, so I was hungry today and decided I'd go to Wendy's. I also needed gas and money, so it was a useful errand trip to the bank and gas station also. Anyway, I pull up to Wendy's drivethrough and place my order, "A #2 with ketchup, mustard, onions, and no cheese, a coke, and chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce." Now, that order doesn't look too difficult, does it? But then again, you don't work at Wendy's. Every time I've gone there in the past two years, this order has been screwed up. I specifically wanted NO CHEESE. But I always get cheese. I don't understand why. I mean, adding cheese is one extra step. It's not like it's something that's already done and it's a pain to undo. The cheese is extra. They have to make a point to go get the cheese and put it on the burger. If I was in that position, I'd only do what was asked. I wouldn't be looking to do extra work that the customer doesn't want done in the first place. That's stupid. But there's more. I also didn't get my barbecue sauce. Now, that is one extra step. But if they wouldn't have put the cheese on the burger (saving 1 step), they could have used the step they just saved to put the barbecue sauce in the bag.Back
